InfoTrove is an intuitive web-enabled document management system that gives you the power to organize and control access to all your company documents. With no system requirements other than a web-browser, InfoTrove is easy to install, easy to use, and easy to manage.

Files of any type can be stored in folders and sub-folders that you create, including—but not limited to—word processing documents, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, web pages, audio files, video files, plain text, CAD files, etc. Each document is assigned a unique document number, which can be defined per folder or can optionally span a number of folders.

Access Control Lists associated with each document and folder define exactly who can view, edit and manage your documents. InfoTrove allows you to give controlled access to people outside your organization, such as suppliers and partners, without having to give them a user account on your internal computer system. You can fully customize their editing and viewing rights to suit your requirements.

A user can checkout a document for editing, locking the document so nobody else can make changes until the edit operation is complete.

Unlike shared folders on your PC, other users can still view the document when it is checked out. A detailed audit history is kept of all accesses,

moves, and changes so you can see exactly who did what, from where, and when.

InfoTrove keeps all versions of your documents so you can quickly and easily revert to a previous copy. Versions are labeled with a major.minor number scheme so users can refer to a specific version of a document. Each version can have associated comments to track what has changed between versions.

Email notification when documents are submitted or changed can be configured based on interest level in the document. Email notifications contain full status information and log entries so users can immediately see if they need to take any action. A hyperlink within the email automatically launches InfoTrove.
