Xsolvia and Seinet Partner to Launch Xtent Publishing Suite in The Americas

 Amherst, NH – March 3, 2005 – Xsolvia, Inc., a leader in the implementation and integration of content technologies, is pleased to announce a partnering agreement with Seinet Group S.L., giving Xsolvia exclusive rights to market and license Seinet’s Xtent Publishing Suite, outside of the newspaper market, in the United States and Canada and non-exclusive rights to market and license Seinet products, outside of the newspaper market, in Latin America.

Xtent Publishing Suite is a complete and integrated, multi-platform, cross-media solution that optimizes content management, workflows, archiving and publishing from a single application. This suite of products is based on multiple modules that can run stand-alone or can be easily integrated into a company's existing editorial and production systems.

Xtent Publishing Suite includes the following modules:

Xtent Catalog Server – a powerful application that provides content management as well as archiving capabilities. Xtent Catalog is the core server of the Xtent Publishing Suite solution. It can be used stand alone or integrated with the rest of the suite.

Xtent Editorial Server - a module that adds to the central repository (Xtent Catalog Server) the functionality required to implement a content production workflow for both web and print publications. ·        Multiple online spelling/hyphenation dictionaries.

·        Non-printing notes mode and redlining.

·        Insert tags directly, using XED's full range of editing features, including applying advanced search/replace functions to the tags.

·        Various WYSIWYG views: a galley view, layout view, and full-page view.

·        Integration with InDesign for hyphenation and justification.

XNews – an InDesign plug-in, which integrates InDesign into another module of Xtent, allowing the user to work transparently with the editorial server to produce pages with a high design component (justified to fit in a space).

XJournal – XJournal is an InDesign plug in which integrates InDesign into an additional module of Xtent, allowing the user to work transparently with the editorial server to produce long structured documents.

Xtent Xflow - the advanced workflow tool of Xtent Publishing Suite that manages workflows. It can be used stand-alone or as an integrated part of Xtent Publishing Suite.

Xtent Print Publisher - a module of Xtent Publishing Suite that allows the production control in printed media. It can work integrated with the Suite or can be used with XFlow integrated with other editorial and pre-press systems.

Xtent Web Publisher - a module of Xtent Publishing Suite that provides a comprehensive set of content personalization, management, and delivery capabilities for digital content. It can be used as stand-alone tool or as a fully integrate part of the complete publishing suite, offering in this case a unique system to manage printed, webs or wireless publications, optimizing publishing workflows.

Xtent Plan Master - a module of the Xtent Publishing Suite that allows for edition planning that supports multiple editions and multiple print sites.
